This week, the University of Michigan announced lecture dates for the most recent recipients of Distinguished University Professorships. Per the Rackham Graduate School’s website, “Distinguished University Professorships recognize exceptional scholarly and/or creative achievements, national and international reputation, superior teaching and mentoring, and an impressive record of service.” In 2007, the Center’s Jane Dutton was honored with her own DUP, and in April of 2009 she gave her inaugural lecture, entitled “Beauty in Everyday Work: Seeing the Resourcefulness of University Staff.”
