Cheri Alexander


Cheri Alexander is driven to inspire, teach, and coach students and executives in positive approaches to Human Capital Management. After a successful 33-year corporate career, culminating in Vice President – HR International Operations, General Motors and President of the General Motors University, she joined the Ross School of Business to help lead in the Executive Education Department and to teach in the BBA, MBA, EMBA, and EE programs. She also teaches and lectures in Labor Relations at Wayne State University and lectures for Inforum Center for Leadership. Having lived on 3 continents in 4 countries, she has a passion for teaching in the Global Leadership space.  Her work and thought leadership has been highlighted in several books and magazines, as well as being on the cover of CLO, Chief Learning Officer, in 2008, ‘Bringing Positive Energy to Employee Development.’
