Chris Myers

Doctoral Research Fellow; PhD Student in Management & Organizations

Chris is driven to understand how leaders and teams can more effectively learn, develop and grow in today’s knowledge-rich work environments. His research related to Positive Organizational Scholarship focuses on learning as a generative, capability-building process in organizations, and he is particularly interested in how these learning processes help improve patient care in hospitals and critical care contexts. His dissertation research looks at how people can learn vicariously from others’ experiences as a source of positive organizational improvement, using data from air medical transport organizations (as well as MBA consulting teams) to understand how people actively and reciprocally learn from one another in these dynamic settings.
