Wayne Baker was the first Director of the Center for Positive Organizational Scholarship (POS), now known as the Center for Positive Organizations, and is currently Faculty Director of the CPO Business Consortium. His Positive Organizational Scholarship research interests include (1) energy networks in organizations, (2) generosity and reciprocity, and (3) values.  His writing a book about the importance of asking for what you need.  His previous books include United America: The Surprising Truth about American Values, American Identity, and the 10 Beliefs that a Large Majority of Americans Holds Dear (DC Media, Inc.), America’s Crisis of Values: Reality and Perception (Princeton University Press), Achieving Success Through Social Capital (Jossey-Bass), and Networking Smart (McGraw-Hill).
