Mary Schlitt is a first year MPA at the Ford School of Public Policy. Prior to the Ford School, Mary spent seven years managing a fund development and marketing team at Washtenaw County’s local food bank and food rescue program, Food Gatherers. With 15 years of experience in the non-profit sector, she is eager to bring new analytical skills from the classroom back into the workplace. She was drawn to the Center for Positive Organizations because she believes that authentic and positive leaders inspire employees to become their best selves and in the process make for better workplaces and better workplace productivity. When Mary is not studying for Calculus, you can find her chasing her toddler twins or coaching her 8-year-old son in soccer.
