The 2017 Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS 2017) will be including a track, a series of sessions, that takes a new look at Positive Organizational Scholarship. Titled “Information Systems and Positive Organizational Scholarship” it examines the intersection of POS and the virtual world, through the lens of broadly relevant topics such as ethics and morality.

The track is designed to highlight and encourage research, and to add to current understandings of Positive Organizational Scholarship within information systems and virtual communities. Submissions for minitrack proposals are now open, and close October 17, 2016. Questions about minitrack submissions can be found on the submissions information page or directed to the program co-chairs, Eleanor Loiacono, eloiacon@wpi.edu, and Traci Hess, thess@isenberg.umass.edu

More information is on the AMCIS event page, and from Information Systems and Positive Organizational Scholarship track chairs, H. Kevin Fulk (hkfulk@tarleton.edu), Suranjan Chakraborty (schakraborty@towson.edu), and Sutirtha Chatterjee (sutirtha.chatterjee@unlv.edu).
