September 21, 2017

11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. (Session 1) and 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. (Session 2)

“Think of the last time an interaction at work literally lit you up. Before the interaction, you may have felt depleted, tired, or simply neutral. After the interaction, even if it was brief, you had greater energy and capability for action. This sense of heightened energy is real, and it is an important indicator that you are engaged in a high-quality connection.” – How to be a Positive Leader by Jane Dutton

Please join MBW for a workshop on “High Quality Connections” with The Center for Positive Organization’s Jane Dutton. Jane will discuss HQCs and why they’re a key component of building positive relationships both personally and professionally. HQCs can be powerful tool as we embark on a new school year with classmates and/or as we transition into new roles in companies. There will be two sessions, limited to 15 students each, so please be sure to register. Lunch will be served. This event is open to MBA1s and MBA2s involved with Michigan Business Women.

The Center for Positive Organization’s +Lab is a co-curricular program that runs during the academic year. The +LAB gives students the opportunity to join a thriving community of undergraduate and graduate students, researchers, and business leaders, in addition to exploring the science of positive psychology applied to organizations and changing the world of work.
