Dr. Denis Mukwege is a renowned human rights advocate for women of the Democratic Republic of Congo specializing in the care of women after they have been sexually assaulted during the ongoing civil conflict. “When Elephants Fight” is a powerful documentary focused on the sexual violence and valuable conflict minerals in the DRC.
The film is narrated by Robin Wright. Dr. Denis Mukwege and director Mike Ramsdell will present the film and answer audience questions.
