Charlene Franke

+LAB Fellow

As a sophomore at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, Charlene loves to learn about how business can be utilized to create social impact. She aspires to one day work in community-based economic development using the knowledge and skills that she’s learned through +LAB.

Charlene is a Peer Advisor for Community Service for the Michigan Community Scholars Program and co-leads their Education and Community Empowerment Club, which uses service partnerships and dialogues to explore these topics. She is also in the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program this year and is researching positive business practices related to employment law and worker voice. Charlene is happy to return to the +LAB this year and excited to apply Positive Organizational Scholarship to her business classes and research project!
