Karin is in her third year of graduate studies at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business and School of Public Health. She is interested in a career that will allow her to utilize her business acumen and passion for people to make a positive mark on the world. Karin joined the Center of Positive Organizations +LAB to learn tools and techniques grounded in research that enable leaders to have a positive influence on their organizations and communities.
Prior to graduate school, Karin spent five years in Houston in the nonprofit sector. She worked as a Teach for America Corps Member empowering students and building community within the classroom. She later transitioned into healthcare working on the administrative side of a hospital, focusing on operational projects that enabled clinicians to deliver high quality care. Karin holds a bachelor of business administration from The University of Texas at Austin.
