Lindsey Coonan

+LAB Fellow

Lindsey is a second year MPP student at the Ford School of Public Policy. Originally from San Francisco, Lindsey is passionate about workforce development, non-profit management, social justice and social welfare policy. Before graduate school Lindsey spent four years at Upwardly Global, a national non-profit that provides assistance to recently arrived immigrants and refugees with professional degrees from developing countries, and helps them to restart their careers in the U.S. Lindsey is interested in helping non-profits implement positive organizational practices to become more positive work environments, to offset the burnout often experienced by employees in the industry. She looks forward to applying positive organizational principles to the non-profit sector, helping non-profits to become more sustainable, impactful, and more employee-centered.
