Academy of Management Annual Meeting
The Academy of Management (AOM), an international association of scholars dedicated to creating and disseminating knowledge about management and organizations, has more than 17,000 members worldwide. More than 6,000 scholars and practitioners attend each annual meeting.
The Academy of Management holds its annual meeting each August. Each year, Center for Positive Organizations faculty present research, conduct professional development workshops, and host a Gathering of POS Scholars, during which scholars review accomplishments of the previous year and then break into groups of individuals with common research interests to foster networking and the building of research collaborations.
Positive Organizational Scholarship (POS)-related sessions debuted in 2002, and the impact of POS increases each year. The Center for Positive Organizations is the heart of that presence.
