A visit with +LAB Affiliates
November 24, 2015
Visiting Leader Chris Murchison, the vice president of staff development and culture at HopeLab, spent an evening with +LAB Affiliates this November to discuss artifacts and how positive practices impact their community. Chris led an inspiring event filled with storytelling, reflection, and research. The group explored how artifacts represent experiences, reflect values, pass on knowledge, and build relationships in organizations.
Monica Worline joined the Affiliates by video call to share the research and theory of why artifacts are valuable to organizations. The group learned how the use of artifacts is an important way for organizational practices and processes to travel across time. Chris’s visit is one of many events this year for +LAB affiliates to build tools and practices to be resilient positive change agents at Michigan and beyond.
