Watch Adam Grant on a PBS Newshour Brief but Spectacular segment talking about “how to give feedback so people hear that you’re trying to help.” Just as there are constructive ways to argue, there are constructive ways to give feedback so that the receiver of the criticism feels encouraged, rather than attacked.
Grant is a member of the Center for Positive Organization’s Advisory Board and the Class of 1965 Wharton Professor of Management and professor of Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania. He is author of Originals and, with co-author Sheryl Sandberg, Option B.
