Amy Wrzesniewski was interviewed about job crafting for “You Can Turn a Job You Hate Into One You Like” in The Cut. According to Wrezniewski, “Employees are doing this anyway: deviating from the job description to find meaning in the work.” Her research with Jane Dutton was also cited.
Wrzesniewski is a member of the Center for Positive Organizations’ research advisory board and professor of Organizational Behavior at Yale University. Her research explores how people make meaning of their work, with a focus on the impact meaning has on employees and the organizations in which they work.
