David Mayer wins Academy of Management award

David M. Mayer, associate professor of management and organizations, has been selected to receive the 2016 Cummings Scholarly Achievement Award from the Organizational Behavior Division of the Academy of Management.

The award recognizes the “scholarly achievement of an early-mid-career scholar” who received their PhD no more than 12 years ago. The award will be presented at the 76th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management. The theme for this year’s conference is “Making Organizations Meaningful” and will be held August 5-9, 2016 in Anaheim, California.
