March 23, 2017

The Greater Good Science Center at the University of California, Berkeley, reviewed Jane Dutton and Monica Worline‘s new book, Awakening Compassion at Work: The Quiet Power That Elevates People and Organizations.

In the book, based on 20 years of research, the authors show that alleviating suffering confers measurable competitive advantage in areas like innovation, collaboration, service quality, and talent.

Dutton is co-founder of the Center for Positive Organizations and Robert L. Kahn Distinguished University Professor of Business Administration, and Worline is founder and CEO of EnlivenWork and faculty affiliate at CPO.
