Gretchen Spreitzer, Menlo Innovations in Quartz article

The Quartz article “If you work in the ‘gig economy,’ there’s one important benefit you’re probably overlooking” suggests that workers should weigh job security by the quality of networks they are entering, not pay, benefits, and other perks. The story describes America’s “shift towards freelance nation” and the implications this has on employee-employer relationships.
CPO Faculty Director Gretchen Spreitzer cited Menlo Innovations as an example of a company which maintains positive relationships with employees after they leave. “Three years later, these people are willing to leave their current jobs to return,” she tells Quartz.
Menlo Innovations was an organizational partner for the 2015 Magnify Immersion Program, a spring semester academic program for bringing Positive Organizational Scholarship (POS) to students in order to learn, identify, and employ POS principles and practices that build high-performing organizations that enable people to thrive.
