Gretchen Spreitzer, Peter Bacevice on coworking in Quartz

CPO faculty director Gretchen Spreitzer and CPO scholar and researcher Peter Bacevice contributed to a Quartz article entitled, “Switching up your location makes you better (and more creative) at your job.”
The author pulls from research by Spreitzer and Bacevice as support for her case as a freelancer using different coworking places. She goes on to explain how different spaces can influence productivity and even creativity, with support from Spreitzer’s research: “You can interact with more and different kinds of people who can provide new perspectives, networks, and resources for you.”
The author also examines the challenges of co-working spaces as Bacevice explains, “[c]oworking is not a one-size-fits-all experience.”
