Gretchen Spreitzer talks to Reno NPR about coworking
February 24, 2016
CPO Faculty Director Gretchen Spreitzer was interviewed by the Reno National Public Radio for a coworking segment titled, “Professionals Thrive More At Coworking Spaces.”
Spreitzer’s research has studied hundreds of people who use coworking spaces in the U.S., and, as the article explains, “they reported an average of almost six on a seven-point scale for thriving: defined in the study as having meaningful work, job control, and feeling part of a community.” Spreitzer adds, “The thriving scores that we’re seeing in coworking spaces are quite high, much higher than traditional work environments,” she adds.
