Insights from Adam Grant’s new book in Time
February 2, 2016
A new book from Adam Grant, a member of the Center for Positive Organizations Research Advisory Board, is featured in the Time article, “How Being a Rebel at Work Can Boost Your Career.” The book, Originals: How Non-Conformists Move the World, was published in February by Viking.
The article profiles some key take-aways from Grant’s book, including the surprising origin of unique ideas, the benefits of procrastination, and when it’s appropriate — and healthy — to be unprofessional. “Grant focuses mainly on entrepreneurship, the anecdotes and lessons could be valuable to anyone who has struggled against the status quo at work,” the article explains.
Grant will be joining the 2016-2017 Positive Links Speaker Series; details will be announced later this semester.
