CPO core faculty and professor Kim S. Cameron and Emma Seppala wrote an article in the Harvard Business Review on positive work environments. The article, “Happy Workplaces Can Also Be Candid Workplaces” explains research-backed rules of thumb to help managers deliver constructive and candid feedback.
“If you want to implement more positive communication, the data shows that you must do so sincerely and authentically — otherwise it can have the reverse effect,” the authors write.
