Rich Sheridan pens Xconomy op-ed on innovation, imagination
January 6, 2016
Rich Sheridan, the president and CEO of Ann Arbor-based Menlo Innovations, wrote on op-ed for Xconomy titled “In 2016, Will We Finally Enter the Age of Imagination?”
Though Sheridan applauds the “big ideas” of 2015—including grand space ambitions and self-driving cars—he writes, “I am incredibly hopefully that we are … entering the ‘age of imagination.’” In this age, thriving companies include “autonomy and alignment” in their leadership practices and release the notions of “bureaucracy, control, and hierarchy.”
Menlo Innovations was a finalist in the 2015 Positive Business Project competition, was an organizational partner for the inaugural Magnify Immersion Program, and is a great supporter of the Center for Positive Organizations’ work.
