Austin Anderson is a dynamic leader at the intersection of data, insights, and employee experience. Since joining EY in 2014, he has empowered both external and internal clients to cultivate thriving workplace cultures. His impactful initiatives range from reinventing recognition within project teams to transforming well-being across a division of 2,000 employees.
Austin launched his career in engineering in 2007, building a strong technical foundation that has evolved into a passion for people and business. His diverse industry experience spans Automotive, Healthcare, Software, and Professional Services, allowing him to bring a multifaceted perspective to his work.
A dedicated advocate for Positive Organizational Scholarship, Austin was an early participant and consultant in the Center for Positive Organizations (CPO) +LAB student program. He remains actively engaged with the CPO community, sharing insights with students and connecting with like-minded leaders.
Austin is a proud alumnus of the University of Michigan, where he earned his BSE in Industrial and Operations Engineering in 2007 and his MBA from the Michigan Ross School of Business in 2014. He is committed to staying abreast of the latest trends in people and business through his memberships and certifications with the Josh Bersin Academy and the Society of Human Resource Management.
Outside of work, Austin enjoys raising animals, coaching ski racing, and fostering a love for nature and scouting alongside his wife, Katie, and their five children: Adrian, Alexander, Josie, Caz, and Leonie.
