Jason Wilburn
Jason Wilburn is the President of FOERSTER Instruments, Inc., the North American subsidiary of the FOERSTER Group. FOERSTER develops and manufactures instruments and systems for the non-destructive testing of metallic materials, metal detection, and magnetics. As President, Jason is responsible for North American operations with facilities in Pittsburgh (PA), Salem (OH), Birmingham (AL), Houston (TX), and Charlotte (NC). Prior to joining FOERSTER Jason was the VP and GM for Conco Services Industrial Business Unit.
Jason has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Management and Manufacturing (MMM) Degree from Pennsylvania State University. Jason has attended a number of executive education courses including topic areas of leadership, strategic planning, and negotiating.
In addition to his work with FOERSTER Jason enjoys advising early stage industrial companies. Jason is a member of the Industrial Advisory Board for Penn State’s Quality and Manufacturing Management Program and has been an active board member for 12 years. He is actively involved in the Center for Positive Organizations at the Michigan Ross School of Business. Jason is also on the board of the Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh, an organization that provides services for children and youth with special healthcare needs.
Outside of work, Jason primarily enjoys traveling with his wife and two young sons, riding his skateboard and practicing yoga.
