Hope in Organizations Tackling Grand Challenges
Talk description:
In this presentation, I will unpack a recently published, two-year ethnography in an organization addressing commercial sex exploitation. Specifically, we uncover the role of hope cultures in organizations tackling grand challenges. I will demonstrate how hope cultures in such organizations ebb and flow over time, with downstream implications for their collective wellbeing and mission-oriented actions. I will also provide some insights into related projects that my colleagues and I are currently working on.

To that end, we created the Adderley Positive Research Incubator for sharing and encouraging POS-related research ideas that are at various stages of development.
