Gretchen Spreitzer talks thriving at work in Making Positive Psychology Work podcast

In a new episode of the podcast Making Positive Psychology Work with Michelle McQuaid, Gretchen Spreitzer shared her research about thriving in the workplace. Spreitzer talks about a variety of topics, including the sustainability of the environment as well as human performance, coworking spaces, resilience, the roles of organizations and individuals in making change, and thriving in the face of struggle. “Thriving is not about bouncing back,” Spreitzer explains. “It’s about bouncing better.”

Gretchen is a Keith E. and Valerie J. Alessi Professor of Business Administration, professor of management and organizations, and the faculty director for the Center for Positive Organizations.
