Gretchen Spreitzer wrote a chapter about Robert E. Quinn’s contribution to Positive Organizational Scholarship (POS) in The Palgrave Handbook of Organizational Change Thinkers.

Inspiring Positive Change: The paradoxical mind of Robert E. Quinn” focuses on Quinn’s work as a teacher and researcher of Positive Organizational Scholarship. From life lessons as a child to his contribution to POS, Quinn’s story is unpacked and his personal vision and goals for positive change are shared.

Quinn is professor emeritus at Michigan Ross. He is a co-founder of the Center for Positive Organizations, and among other works, the author of The Positive Organization.

Spreitzer is the faculty director for the Center for Positive Organizations, a professor of management and organizations, and the Keith E. and Valerie J. Alessi Professor of Business Administration. In addition to coworking, her research carries emphasis on thriving and how to cultivate best selves at work.
