How Sara Soderstrom prepares her students for difficult conversations

Sara Soderstrom, a faculty associate at the Center for Positive Organizations, was interviewed for a Poll Everywhere blog post about how she builds a psychologically safe space in her classroom where students and teachers can have conversations, especially about contentious issues, grounded in a culture of mutual respect.

Soderstrom is an assistant professor of organizational studies and Program in the Environment at the University of Michigan.
