Center for Positive Organizations (CPO) affiliate Laura Morgan Roberts has spoken with podcasters from The Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, and Business Unusual about how businesses can confront race in the workplace.
Roberts discusses how individuals, organizations and communities can create a more just and equitable society on the following episodes:
- The Wall Street Journal: When Police Brutality Meets Office Politics
- Harvard Business Review: What Leaders Must Do Today to Address Systemic Racism
- Business Unusual: Business leaders join calls for racial justice
“It’s not just about an organizational policy or a mission statement alone,” Roberts says. “It’s really about transforming the hearts and the minds of people within our organizations and in our communities, who then have to enact these policies and practices that will help us to move forward.”
Roberts is a Professor of Practice at the University of Virginia. Her book, Race, Work and Leadership: New Perspectives on the Black Experience, was published by the Harvard Business Review Press.
