Jane Dutton and Adam Grant’s research was cited in the Washington Post article, “The simple action you can take right now to change your life. All you need is a pen.” The article presents research and examples about the importance of personal narrative and how people tell their stories in developing a meaningful and purpose-focused life.

Dutton is co-founder for the Center for Positive Organizations and Robert L. Kahn Distinguished University Professor of Business Administration and Psychology. She researches the power of positive relationships at work, job crafting, and positive identities.

Grant is a member of the Center’s advisory board and Class of 1965 Wharton Professor of Management; Professor of Psychology University of Pennsylvania and is a leading expert on how we can find motivation and meaning, and live more generous and creative lives.
