Kim Cameron contributed to a story in The Hollywood Reporter titled “How to Fix the Academy’s Management Problem: Overhaul the Board.” The article discusses the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ current management and organizational structure and what should be done to improve it. “A 54-person board is ridiculous,” Cameron tells the Reporter, “you know there are coalitions inside the board, and reaching consensus is essentially impossible.”

Cameron is co-founder of the Center for Positive Organizations and William Russell Kelly Professor Emeritus of Management and Organizations at Michigan Ross.
