Looking to get your New Year’s resolution back on track? Scott Sonenshein has some ideas

February 27, 2017

Scott Sonenshein, a professor at Rice University and a member of our Research Advisory Board, wrote an article for Quartz titled, “Your New Year’s resolution is dead, so here are three steps to get back on track to meeting your goals.”

The article encourages readers to be deliberate about their goals, to not compare themselves to others (citing research he conducted with Jane Dutton), and to just start moving.

Sonenshein will talk about his new book, Stretch: Unlock the Power of Less – and Achieve More Than You Ever Imagined, at our March 13 Thought Leadership Showcase event. The event will also include Dutton and Monica Worline, authors of Awakening Compassion at Work: The Quiet Power that Elevates People and Organizations.
