Michelle Segar quoted in The Guardian about balancing fitness and a busy life

CPO Faculty Associate Michelle Segar was quoted in The Guardian article, “How to stay fit forever: 25 tips to keep moving when life gets in the way.” Segar’s research explores the motivation behind long-term fitness which, as she explains in the article, includes focusing on “positive feelings such as stress reduction, increased energy and making friends.”
Segar, author of No Sweat: How the Simple Science of Motivation Can Bring You a Lifetime of Fitness, is a motivation scientist and directs the University of Michigan’s Sport, Health, and Activity Research and Policy (SHARP) Center.
