December 21, 2020
Center for Positive Organizations (CPO) Research Advisory Board member Stephanie Creary and her guests discuss “How to Be an Inclusive Leader” during a Leading Diversity@Wharton conversation.
Creary hosts The Wharton School speaker series and was recently joined by Wharton Dean Erika James and Corey Anthony, senior vice president of human resources and chief diversity officer at AT&T, for a discussion called “Inclusive Leadership in a Time of Crisis.”
The speakers talk about how organizations can make lasting change on diversity, equity and inclusion, even as they grapple with competing pressures like the COVID-19 pandemic.
Creary shares that her students give her hope the next generation of business leaders will dismantle structural racism and build a more equitable world.
“They are very, very, very eager to be change agents in their internships and their future work roles,” Creary says.
Creary is an Assistant Professor of Management at the University of Pennsylvania.
