U-M’s bicentennial and Mary Ceccanese’s focus on gratitude
June 14, 2017
As part of the University of Michigan’s bicentennial celebration, staff – both current and past – were invited to contribute to a collection of “Stories of the Staff: 200 Years of Making a Difference.” Mary Ceccanese, coordinator of the Office of Tax Policy Research and a CPO executive education affiliate, submitted a story chronicling her 28 years at the university.
Her story—told with a focus on gratitude—talks of her work with the Michigan Ross Professor Joel Slemrod and the Office of Tax Policy Research; her involvement with the U-M Voices of the Staff; and the opportunity to share Jane Dutton’s work on high quality connections and other areas of Positive Organizational Scholarship with colleagues through the U-M campuses and greater Southeast Michigan community.
