In his Fast Company Science of Work contribution, Adam Grant writes about the surprising sociology behind the Reciprocity Ring and how he, along with Wayne Baker and Cheryl Baker, have developed a new tool to expand its impact. Givitas is a scalable technology platform that uses the principles from Grant’s book Give and Take to make it easier for people to ask for and give help.
Grant is a member of the Center for Positive Organization’s Advisory Board and the Class of 1965 Wharton Professor of Management and professor of Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania.
Baker is Robert P. Thome Professor of Business and Faculty Director of the CPO Consortium. His research interests include energy networks in organizations, generosity and reciprocity, and values.
